Terms of service
These terms describe the operational boundaries of SerialCare. They do not replace the merchant's own warranty terms or legal obligations.
Merchant responsibility
The merchant is responsible for setting warranty periods, deciding claims, honoring applicable consumer laws, and ensuring product and warranty information is accurate.
Service scope
SerialCare provides software for serial registration, warranty tracking, QR product passports and warranty claim workflows. SerialCare does not itself issue, insure or guarantee a merchant's products.
Acceptable use
The service must not be used to submit fraudulent claims, abuse public forms, interfere with the service, or process information that is unlawful for the merchant to collect.
Availability and changes
We may update the service to maintain security, compatibility with Shopify, or product functionality. Service interruptions can occur despite reasonable operational safeguards.
Termination and data
A merchant can stop using the service by uninstalling the Shopify app. Tenant data is then deleted according to Shopify privacy requirements and the SerialCare privacy policy.
